About this work
The date is questionable. I have in hand an engraved sheet from no earlier than 1715, with Witham's imprint thus: "Sold by Tho: Witham, Print Seller and Frame-maker, in Long-lane near West Smithfield. Price 6 pen[ce]. At the same place may be had his Majesty’s Genealogy, &c., in a small character."
This engraving reproduces Addison's poem on Sir Godfrey Kneller's portrait of George I, which was painted in 1715 or 1716 (commssioned by the Guildhall, which records it as 1716). Letterpress editions of the poem published by Jacob Tonson are dated 1716 (though one copy of the first edition has a purchase note from late December 1715).
I have been able to find no further information about Witham.
Update: The map, without the text of the diary, but printed from the same engraving, appears in Daniel Defoe's A Tour thro' the Whole Island of Great Britain, 1724, v. 1. The text of the diary is printed letterpress in the edition. I have seen a copy of the map in the University of Chicago copy of Defoe's work; Georgianna Ziegler at the Folger has reported seeing it in the Folger copy (where the larger print, with the text of the diary, is also held). In each case, the map is trimmed to the border, suggesting to me that it was printed from the larger plate and then trimmed (though perhaps on smaller paper to avoid waste).
Thus it seems likely that the print dates to ca. 1724 and was misplaced in Wing.

Comments about this copy
ESTC and EEBO describe this as "2 sheets", but from the reproduction of the Folger copy, it seems clear that the two images are the upper and lower portions of the same side of the same sheet, made because the whole sheet wouldn't fit in a single frame of the film. I have communicated this to Deborah Leslie at the Folger (djleslie@folger.edu) and await her response. The catalogue records for the Oxford copies noted in ESTC are minimal and do not offer any further information.
